We in Williamstown as a community, are petitioning the council to build a skate park as the youth of Williamstown have no other places to ride skateboards, bikes and scooters. If there were a skate park in Williamstown, it would prevent property and buildings being damaged throughout the town, youth would not have to ride in the school and town. Although Williamstown has a dirt bike track it's not suitable for scooters and skateboards. The law says " Anyone over the age of 12 are not allowed to ride on the footpath". Which leaves the youth bored and no-where to ride and have fun, the roads are too dangerous for riding as some of the parents are concerned for the youth's saftey.
