My brother in law and partner and there 3 kids under 2 are homeless and have been shuffling from family member to family member as they can't afford a place of their own. The wait list for town housing is i believe 8 year waiting list. I know a single person who is 20 who has just got a town house and they are single, its pretty frustrating for families who are just getting by and living with other family members. With the cost of living, and housing costs rising more and more people will have to choose housing or food and or homelessness

So many young families struggling to have a place to call their own. Habitat for humanity helps those parent with one less burden and lets them raise their children in a warm safe environment. I know 2 families in Goderich area in this predicament

More affordable housing, not just more houses/apartments. It needs to be geared to income

Since I am one of the community members waiting to find myself homeless because I cannot afford to keep up with rent prices, I am in need of housing I can afford.

We live in one of the most wealthiest countries in the world, so no Canadian citizen should be suffering with housing insecurity.
