This would be an ideal site for a medical centre

Building the proposed South Sutton Medical Centre on the Sutton Hospital site would be infinitely preferable to the Henderson Hospital site for obvious reasons

Build an all encompassing, state of the art medical centre for the local people.

Without doubt this is the most accessible location for such a medical centre.

It is an excellent idea to build a medical centre in the Sutton Hospital site and for all the good reasons: The eye unit at Sutton was renowned everywhere... reinstate it! Easily accessible by public transport; it is something that the community wants and would actually be situated in the right place, so close to the Royal Marsden.

An absolute scandal for the Lib Dems to vote through at the planning meeting an application from their former
councillor and Mayor who was one of the doctors practices trying to move from.Grove Road
to the Henderson Hospital site.
This was opposed by the Shanklin Village Residents Association,The Belmont and South Cheam Residents Association,The Belmont Traders and the 3 Conservative Ward Councillors for Belmont.

We in South Sutton and Belmont want a medical centre on the Sutton Hospital site not at the Henderson Hospital site which off the beaten track - has no public transport and has little car parking. Everybody knows that you go to a medical centre because you are unwell. Often walking is not something you want to do.
We do not want a school on the site.

This site is much too small for a secondary school, with no outdoor sporting areas, dubious transport links, unfavourable buildings.
