For years, the FAU Owls Baseball Team has been largely ignored by the FAU Athletics Department even though it has been the one program that has been a constant winner year after year. The current facility has no restrooms for players or fans, just port-a-potties, no concession stands just a trailer for concessions, nor a grounds crew. Players and coach's have to pull double duty on game days. Even with the arrival of Pat Chun, who replaced Craig Angelos as Athletic Director, the priority has been and still is the naming rights of the on campus football stadium. With FAU Owls Baseball getting national recognition in their efforts against University of North Carolina, the time has come for FAU Baseball to be put at or near the top of the Athletics Departments priority list. The renovations or the building of a new facility will bring conference tournaments, regional to the the area as well as TV games to our campus. Please make your voice hear and help us get the proper facility that FAU Baseball has been needing for years.
