This is to show how many Burwood residence DO WANT the schools to go ahead at QEII along side the new QEII swimming complex development not waiting until after this is complete.

This is a petition to give to the Christchurch City Council because no survey was completed to get the residence views some are proposing that the government wait until the swimming complex is complete before building the schools.

Updates

June 21, 2016

The Christchurch City Council thinks they can ignore us by hiding behind their slow construction timeline. I am tired of their silence and I am currently drafting a formal demand for them to face the residents they are failing.

The new Schools will have a profound effect on lifting economic benefits to the east. Property values will rise as will demand for services.

I don't have children but schools bring families and families create communities . Buisness flourish and our community develop a social conscious when youngsters are around.

With all the new subdivisions, we need High Schools ASAP at the QEII site. We have been waiting for decades, time to just get it done so kids are no longer shifted from pillar to post.
