It needs to be built. Objectors keep saying it will move the traffic problems to neighbouring villages but how? Neither Sandford nor Winscombe have multiple bottlenecks/pinch points like Banwell so I fail to see how. Increases in traffic are also quoted but it's the same traffic, simply using a new road and the increases are expected with the new housing estates popping up, funnily enough like those in Churchill and Winscombe!

We live in wells and go to weston a lot . Banwell is a nightmare to travel though because of the amount of traffic and the narrow road's. I feel sorry for the people that live their.

It a lovely village and it being destroyed by motorists using it as a rat run. It’s only a matter of time before someone get killed on this narrow stretch of road. The bypass is well overdue and should be signed off ASAP.

Driving through Banwell has been a problem for many years - I’ve lived in Locking since 1971 and remember it talked about soon after then .

The bypass is in everyone's interest. The traffic issue is now at crisis level, with the increase in the volume of cars, lorries and buses. Build our bypass!
