I think this will be better for our skaters that find random things to skateboard on. Some are not safe. If we had a skate park this will be better and safe. And parents won't have to worry where their kids are because they're are there at the skate park.

I feel a skateboard park would be a great addition to the city. Skateboarding is a good activity to keep young teenagers busy and those that skateboard don't have to travel far from their homes to skateboard.

I have been living in waxahachie for 10 years now and, me and my buddies growing up would skate waxahachie. There isnt much to skate here but us being young always were looking for new spots. We used to try to skate in down town close to the court house but was always stopped and was told to leave. We were told by the officers there was a policy that we can get fined if caught skating from railroad track to railroad track. I think Waxahachie should get a park. It dont have to be huge, just enough of everything to keep the skaters, bikers, and scooters happy. The only close park is in midlo other than that dallas and arlington are the next best choice.

I'm one for this, I hope that they build more skate parks in Hachie they need it. Cause there's not that much to do here so I hope really they do. For all you skaters out there, you dudes & dudettes keep chillen and skating on yuhh, deucesXD

We cant skate downtown or we will get a ticket. They always tell us to go to a skate park, but we don't have one. Thay can change.
