My buddy got a ticket for 116$ cause he was on a board. I got one for 122$ for my little dog not being on a leash. Would have got more if I had been riding the board.
It's an unnecessary ordinance in my opinion. Downtown has the smoothest roads in hachie and the best over lighting besides a parking lot.
They really shouldn't stop people from being free.
We don't do it to be destructive.
And it's too hot during the day.
And less traffic at night so it's safer.
Skateboarding is not a crime.
Turning laws against your people is.

I lived in waxahachie for years and nothing was worse than picking up my skateboard after a hard day at school and work doing my favorite activity and getting it shut down by a cop rolling by telling me to walk and carry my board before I get a ticket. If your going to put an ordinance on skating and enforce it then give us a place to skate. I know live on fort hood and visit hachie every weekend, if love to raise my kid there and a skate park is the only addition to the city I think it truly needs. I'm all for it.

Having a skate park would be a great place for the kids to go. Getting them out of the house, interacting with others. Exercising their mind and body.

Alot of people in waxahachie skate, and have nowhere to do so. Also rich white privileged people wont get mad at kids for doing ollies on the sidewalk.
