Star Trek is a vision of an optimistic future, and Chief O’Brien is a stalwart pillar of that optimism. He represents Éire as a technological nation as well as a compassionate one. A statue to this great figure of Sci Fi would be a monument to the optimism and compassion the world needs today, and the hope of a better future. If you build it, they will come!
