The town has doubled in size in the last ten years and has a further 1200 houses planned along the A38 A new school would go some way to reducing the congestion into Bridgwater

We definitely need a school to stop childen having to use buses to get to school and polluting the air in queues.

With the huge growth in population & congestion locally the planning for & provision of a school seems timely- let's educate the next generation well, safely & near their homes. Relevant authorities- Crack on, these provisions shouldn't follow need, it should be anticipated and planned in. Thank you.

We desperately need a Secondary School in North Petherton - with the current traffic situation and the predicted increase due to Hinkley traffic and more new homes being built in Wilstock it just doesn't make sense for local children to be forced to travel in the Bridgwater direction.

The North Petherton community, including Wilstock and Stockmoor Villages are still growing. The 2 local primary schools have over 800 children already. Rather than face the increasing traffic problems into Bridgwater (due to EDF), a local secondary school would be preferable and would add to the limited community facilities.

Smaller local schools are essential to improve the educational possibilities for all - my Granddaughter Megan included.

I add my name to the petition for a secondary school to be provided for North Petherton. As numbers of residents rise the need is getting greater each year. I urge the Education Department to consider this carefully and with some urgency

We have very little choice for our children and their future with the growing demand of secondary school places, I fully support this.

I feel we are one of very few areas that have no choice whatsoever of schools!
