Was sold on behalf of taxpayers. A decision not voiced by the taxpayers.

I loved the aquapark and now nothing even close exists in this area for my children. We must have something like this again. As well as there being a large enough population to sustainable a new watermark I really think that if it's good enough people would come from miles around!

So many days as a youth were spent at the old Aqua park. We loved it! It was one of the few places my Mum could drop my friends and me off by ourselves, to have a good time! There's not enough places like that left for kids now... It's sad!

It's ridiculous that Norwich does not have a pool like this! Both riverside and the UEA get too busy at times and neither offer the fun of the old Aqua Park.

It is essential that children in Norfolk are given the best opportunities to learn water confidence. Using fun activity is the best way in. We need to offer safe water environments for children. I grew up in Norfolk and swam in rivers the broads and sea fortunately I stayed safe as my mother ensured I had proper lessons. Think of the drowning risk in Norfolk... I have since moved to Sheffield the facilities in Sheffield are far superior to those in Norfolk. When I return to visit my family we struggle to find suitable facilities to take my children swimming. We would pay to use facilities in Norfolk/ Norwich. Norwich/ Norfolk is really letting its children down by not providing suitable learning environments to promote water safety.

I have two pre-school aged children who are learning to swim. A fun orientated Aqua park would be a great way to practice and consolidate what they learn in swimming classes in a fun and informal way with their parents and would enable the parents to get some much needed excerise also.
