A purpose built MTB park would be a good thing for Lennoxtown and the surrounding Campsie villages. The areas is already well known to road cyclists and local businesses would benefit from the additional trade.
Lennox Forest is a beautiful, but underused green space to the north of the city. A bike park like this would make it more more accessible to everyone (walkers, runners, dog walkers, etc). The lack of activity here means it's often sadly a hotspot for fly-tipping and can feel unsafe to people exploring the forest on their own.
