My wife works in Mitchell and we live in Gungahlin. It makes perfect sense to have a stop there and it would HIGHLY suit her and her colleagues , let alone all the other businesses !

It makes sense to have a light rail stop at Mitchell not only for the workers but for also customers of the many businesses in the suburb. Just one example is the strong automotive industry at Mitchell-a lot of customers dropping their vehicles off for servicing and repairs who would use the light rail to get to work then use again to pick up their vehicles. I would use the light rail if it stopped at Mitchell for this very reason.

I support this petition as there are numerous gyms, yoga studios etc in Mitchell that people travelling on the light rail would like to travel to.

If you're going to waste billions of dollars making Canberra look terrible with a graffiti covered tram replacing all our beautiful trees, the least you can do is get something right and put a stop in Mitchell where it will be well utilised.

It is rediculious to not have a team stop at Mitchell as it more than 15 min walk from EPIC or Gungahlan. The tram is at Mitchell and if no one is wanting to use the stop the tram will not need to stop.
