As Mitchell is a business hub, it should have additional stops added for commuters.

It seems like a no-brainer to me. Having a stop at Mitchell serves both the public and the local business interests.

Having a light rail stop in Mitchell would enable me to use the precinct for a variety of services that I currently can’t access easily.

I work in Mitchell, as do many other people, and it is a huge oversight not to have a light rail stop there. Please fix this.

Go have a look at the the amount of people & cars parcel at the Australia Post depot on Vicars street Mitchell from all Gungahlin residents that have to drive into Mitchell to collect parcels that they were not home for when delivered.
Now if all these people were using the light rail for going to work they would have drive back to Mitchell for their parcels after they got home.

Mitchell traders have been inconvenienced as mush as the rest of us build a stop so they have the ability to recoup some of their losses.

What is there to say? There is too much happening at Mitchell NOT to have a tram stop.

Mitchell is an area that has a multiple scope of businesses that require access by the light rail. I live on the light rail line because in the future I will be reliant on it for transit and I would certainly use a stop in Mitchell eg Post Office on a regular basis .

It’s just needed. ACT govt do it right the first time rather than spending more money down the track to fix issues that were realised earlier in the project. Mitchell businesses have already been negatively impacted by the construction work, please consider them and their customers (so many) and put in an additional stop!

A stop at Mitchell is a no-brainer! We need to support local business and providing a convenient transport option to the area is essential. I currently catch buses from Gungahlin to Civic and there are ALWAYS people using the Mitchell bus stops - you can't just ignore them in the light rail plan. Please reconsider your plan and include a stop at Mitchell.

I work in Mitchell and this would save me money while being so much more simple than the bus network!
