It seems strange that the Mitchell stops have been removed. At least undertake a consultation process (a real one, not one that makes the decision without considering the evidence) and determine if the Mitchell stops are viable.

The Sandford St stop would be great for the people that work in that area and the businesses there. Also the parking in that area is the worst and needs relief.

You have an opportunity to aim for your green targets via enabling a wealth of workers to do their daily commute on light rail as opposed to driving. Dont skip out now as it will only be an issue down the track

The goal of public transport is not just to reduce road traffic but to also make the inaccessible more accessible. By building a Mitchell stop you not only boost the Mitchell economy but open up this economy to people who cant afford to drive there. The benefits both social and financial would easily outweigh costs of an extra stop.
