Mr. Lee definitely deserve this recognition that a lot of Singaporeans including myself has not given him in the past, taking things for granted. He's the man whom drive what a peaceful and prosperous country which we are all enjoying. Definitely supportive of this!

He may not have been liked by some but the simple fact remains, Singapore is one of the safest cities for females to be out in the evenings with little to no fear of harm. This is the constant saying of my English husband which has struck a chord in me. Living in the UK now for several years and having travelled, I learn to appreciate the successful little island who grew from an island swamp to a bustling world class business and economic power. All this through the sacrifices of one man who was left to carve the millions of lives in his care when Singapore was ousted by The Federal Government of Malaysia in 1965. Singapore is Lee Kuan Yew and forever she will be no matter her present and future governors.

He is our founder that builds up this nation, thats pull up our standard of living, getting gobal interntaional firms to set up here create world opportunities to us. He make us proud and we earn recognise through his frame. Thank you

The statue will be a reminder to all of what Mr Lee stands for; that we must be resilient, determined, diligent, honest, live with integrity and upfront, peace and love.
