Final supporters
Then this happened. The entire unveiling process was a joke. Whoever was behind that should be embarrassed and probably fired. Steve Ott couldn't take it, and he's on the team. Props to him for ending the childish nonsense. Now that we see the final product of the circus of the unveiling, we are even more angered with the result. A jersey that does not represent Buffalo.
We've been through so much this team. Promises made and broken. Hopes raised and crushed. We deserve better. We, the fans, deserve respect. Year after year we continue to support the Sabres monetarily and with our hearts and what should we get in return? Another new jersey that we are expected to go out and buy? One that is so pitiful it is the laughing stock of the entire NHL. No. That we will not allow.
People will claim there's no reason to get so upset, it's just a jersey, if you don't like it, don't buy it. It's about more than that. It's about telling Terry Pegula and the entire Sabres organization to LISTEN! Listen to your fans. We are telling you that this jersey has to go because we love the team. We don't want them wearing that. It doesn't represent us. We are as much a part of the team as the players, coaches and owner. We are the heart and soul. Listen to us and get rid of this jersey. You owe it to us.

I really did not think this would gain this much steam but here we are and it is honestly wild to see how many people agree that these jerseys are just absolutely hideous. It feels like every time I check my notifications there are more of you saying the exact same thing which is honestly so validating because this is really about respect for the fanbase and the history of this city.

I been a fan my whole life and this is the first time I actually feel insulted by the front office. Trash.
What were they thinking with that design? It looks like a practice jersey from a bad beer league team. Terrible.
LITERALLY WORST JERSEY IN THE LEAGUE. GET RID OF IT.
Looks like an intern designed this on ms paint. No respect for the history of buffalo hockey at all.
Straight up ugly. Fire whoever signed off on this garbage.
