House Chairman Representative Paul Ryan has proposed a $6.2 trillion budget cut with nearly half of that being on nutrition programs such as women, infants, and children or WIC and the food stamp program. With this proposal being accepted there will be about 8 million people who will be with out food stamps and those who will stay on the program food stamp will get less then ever for food. It may not seem that important but most of the 45 million people on food stamps are children and the elderly. The government struggles with spending money and cutting back budgets when there are millions who struggle just to get food on the table.
