Lance 'Buddy' Franklin is a once in a generation player that no team can afford to lose. The loss of Big Bud will be felt by the whole football club both on and off the field. On the field we lose 70+ goals and the attention of the best defender. Off the field we lose the highest revenue generating player in the history of the game. The number 23 is on the backs and in the hearts of so many Hawk supporters. We are those supporters and we are asking the AFL for 'Buddy fair compensation'.

Buddy IS the game. Seriously watching him is the only reason i even go to the matches anymore. Dont let him go without getting what we deserve.
Should have locked him down years ago. Now we are losing an legend and the club gets peanuts. BS.
Get real. 70 goals a season dont grow on trees. The AFL needs to stop playing games and give us proper compensation.
My son wears his jumper every single game. Breaks my heart to think he could be playing for another team next year.
