Knowing this will cause a “BIG TARGET” on my back,I am going to say it anyway!!!! This is not the first time this display of bulling and cursing has happened to the seasonals from Paul. It also comes from Dan,Anna, Scott and Bob. There is documentation from Anna and Scott when they screamed and yelled at a few seasonal families in front of everyone. Dan, that falsely writes up certain sersonals for doing things that never even happened. Bob the night time Secrurity guard is the same as Paul “A BULLY” There is video footage of a different night that can be sent to Sun if needed. It used to be a nice place to get away and enjoy. Not anyone!!!!! It’s a disgrace how we are being treated and nothing gets done about it! The above night mentioned I was also there with my family and witness what happened. I also had paid guests there and they were shocked at the way Paul was acting and screaming profanity…..They ended up leaving because they felt so uncomfortable. Hope something gets done about this situation… Enough is enough already!!!

My family and I went for a holiday weekend trip at big timber lake. We enjoyed our time there especially how welcoming the seasonal site people were. My family has been camping for years and those people were by far the friendliest and most inviting group of strangers we have ever met. Early Saturday afternoon the host of the gathering chris stopped by my site and informed us of a gathering at his site. He invited our family to check out the festivities, in which we did. We couldn’t believe how a group of strangers could come together as if they have been friends for years. My family felt so welcomed. My kids made friends and had a blast at this gathering. It was a great time for the whole family, until around 10 pm when a male employee barged onto the site screaming and cursing and being anything but professional. My husband and I were in shock to hear an employee of a resort speak in such an unprofessional manner especially with my and many other young children present. We made a lot of friends, it made us want to become seasonal, but after witnessing how the guests are treated make us concerned of how we would be treated if we returned or became seasonal campers. As I said we made alot of friends and are keeping in contact with all the great people we met.

I was there Saturday evening visiting family and i was extremely unhappy with how the security was treating people. I felt like i was in high school again. After that experience i would never want get a campsite there and i feel bad for all those people spending that much money to get yelled at like children.

Was really insane how management came in yelling at 10:20 to say we couldn’t be there? Making faces and yelling feeling threatened isn’t ok. Like we were doing something wrong? Told to disburse? Like we had to go home by 11pm? Things need to be handled better . Smh

The behavior Paul, supposed management, displayed was appalling & that of a bully!! There is a way to approach & speak to others & he truly needs to be educated in this area! His aggressive behavior leaves me questioning the expectations Sun has for their employees & I can only hope the corporate office will take a closer look those expectations & clearly see they are not being met!

I am speaking on behalf of myself and my husband. I as an employee of BTL had a very hard time with this. There was a part of me that was very hesitant to say anything in worries that I would have a target on my back for speaking up about a fellow employee/management from the campground. But this night (Sept 4th) was an eye opener for me. I was at the site that is stated above enjoying the great music, some good conversations, and lots of laughs with everyone that was there. Children running around laughing and even little ones spinning around in circles and dancing to the music. Just a great night spent with a group of people that are fellow seasonals like myself and visiting guests that I can now call friends! Nothing that would’ve warranted for someone taking a power trip to come in with chest puffed out looking for confrontation. The fact that I had guests there myself and they had to witness what went on this night is appalling. Paul came on the site using language that was 1. inappropriate to use in front of the children that were there and 2. uncalled for. For someone who wants to represent themselves as a manager of Sun Communities should have a level of respect for any persons that are the grounds. Or so you would think. Paul 100% did not have ANY respect for anyone that was there. When yelling and berating the guest on the site using foul language saying “these people don’t deserve anything!” I’m having a hard time with this because what exactly does that mean? We all pay a lot to be there, we are all there for the same reason which is to have a good time so I don’t see where the problem is other then someone taking their management title and abusing it. There is a certain way to speak to someone to get your point across without being disrespectful. The correct way to handle this situation (if it’s even true about the complaints) is to take the site owner to the side and respectfully speak to them in a calm tone. I know Chris and I know that he would 100%

I was there that night with my kids and a few seasonal people I know. He was very ignorant. Kept calling us you people when he said we don’t deserve entertainment and we never learn. He was very argumentative and didn’t let anyone say a word. Not to mention it was only 10:15 I think when he showed up. I don’t know the guy that was on the cart but he is not a people person and I hope we don’t have to deal with him in the future.

As retired state law enforcement & business owner, I feel that I have seen a fair share of unprofessionalism & situations being escalated when not warranted, but the behavior I witnessed Saturday evening by Paul was one of the worst. I was attending a fun family gathering with my 7 year old & wife when Paul aggressively approached screaming profanities & displaying behaviors of a true bully! This behavior is not acceptable & I stand strong that some action must be taken especially when I educate my children bullying is never acceptable but my 7 year old had to witness the actions of Pauls aggressive behavior with no good reason. Paul absolutely needs to receive sensitivity training at the bare minimum and as management you should be held to a higher standard & I surely hope that is not the standard that Sun holds their employees to. He should be deescalating not escalating.

I am directly across from Chris the host of the free muscial gathering for campers..They left the street open, they were respectfully, no fighting, no F bombs being used....Just wonderful music shared ... Our host has to do a lot of work to get his site open for the group and closed it down a few minutes before 11 PM..I support him trying to use the Pavillon which should be open for our planned activities. I am upset that Paul came down yelling and crusing at our Host for all to hear. I have been head of management and you give respect to receive respect...If there is problem pull the Host over to side and speak just to him....it is called respect ! Like I said there was no fighting, crusing, yelling untill Paul arrivied.

I have to admit I’m disappointed. With there being very little adult activities I really look forward to these get togethers. We’ve met some incredible people that we would not have otherwise. We had several paying guests at our site including a couple that rented a cabin and it was embarrassing. It almost felt premeditated and was definitely hostile. We pay a lot of money and this is supposed to be a luxury but yet are treated as if it’s a concentration camp. So many people of all ages got together and had a blast. No fighting, arguing, no litter or damage of any sort but then are faced with a verbal attack from management? So many were standing around with their hands out trying to understand where a great night went so wrong. I completely resent being called “You people” and “these people” and would love an explanation of exactly what that means. It wasn’t the first time that term was used either and it’s pure ignorance!

I'm one of the musicians who was playing on the night in question. It wasn't our first time there on a Saturday. Every time we play, I'm overwhelmed by the amount of people who come up to me to express their gratitude and excitement for having us there. They say "There's so much stuff for the kids to do here, but it's tough to find something we can all enjoy. I thoroughly enjoyed tonight." or something to that effect. When the guy came up to where we were playing, he looked like an angry baseball manager kicking dirt on the umpire. I had never met him. He said to me, without an ounce of professionalism or respect for me as a human being, "Shut it the f*ck down. You're done." and I said, "I'm sorry, it's my understanding that we're okay to do this until 11." And it seemed like that just enraged him. He yelled "NO!" and said he had complaints about noise. Looking around, though, it seemed like literally all of the neighboring sites were there watching us and singing along, so I had genuine doubts about that. It really seemed personal for him. Apparently it turned out he's a maintenance manager? Not sure why he's in charge of ruining a perfectly enjoyable evening for everyone. I've really grown to know and like the people at the campground, and I'd really hate to not be able to give them an opportunity to have a few drinks and sing along to some tunes and enjoy themselves. It's just a piano and a guitar. I'm telling you, it's not that loud. In closing, Paul really seems like a great guy. Lol I'm just kidding.

On the evening in question, the conduct I witnessed was a new low. We’ve all witnessed Paul under the influence and ‘storming around’ flexing his authority. While I can understand there is a need to preserve a certain ‘peace’ in the park for all who stay there, Paul takes it to an extreme. There is a way to approach a situation and to be firm and fair. His intoxication makes his approach sloppy, unprofessional, and abusive. He claims there are “several complaints” and even held his phone up and asked “would you like to see them?” When he was taken up on his offer and asked to see them, he exclaimed he didn’t “have time for this bulls$&t!” When a group disperses into a smaller group at a different location, he continues to harass and tell people they need to “shut it down.” People pay quite a bit of money to have a place to come and enjoy each other’s company. Lately, time at BTL has been rather unenjoyable after dark due to the harassment levied by Paul and others - so much so that we have considered selling our place and leaving. The conduct on the night in question was embarrassing for those of us who had guests visiting for the weekend. I had family in from New Hampshire and they were so uncomfortable, they went back to their cabin early for the evening. This is the SECOND time a member of the BTL Maintenance Staff has created a situation that made our guests feel uncomfortable! When is something going to be done? Suffice to say, if something is not done and Paul (or any other BTL staff member) acts like this again in front of my children, I am PERSONALLY signing a complaint against that person with Middle Township Police Department. It’s time for Sun RV to step in and do the right thing and CLEAN HOUSE before things become elevated. Employ some people who are good for your brand and who will be good ambassadors for your company.

The Btl resort is short staffed due to COVID, we all understand and get that’s why it’s hard to have a lot of adult activities. I go out of my way a lot to try to get not only the seasonals but the transients and even staff as well. This was not the first time I had people come play for the campground. The first time Paul was on duty and said “I don’t care, as long as it’s done by 11pm” he didn’t give me any issues. Saturday sept 4th Paul was so disrespectful and out of line it wasn’t even funny !!!! First of all he came flying up on his golf cart at 10:20pm almost hitting a child. Then barged on my site screaming “shut it the *flick down” and continued with more vulgar language… in front of families with children present!! I then tried to politely talk to him he did not want to hear it. Then said turn it down if I come back it’s done for the night. We were done at 10:55pm. Paul then come back at 11:20 pm onto my deck and says to me “as long as I’m here you won’t ever do this bullsh*t ever again”. My site was quiet and lights were even out. This was nothing less then an intimidation tactic from Paul. I hope the sun corporation does not support and condone behaviors like these from “management”

As a direct representative of Sun Outdoors, Paul showed an extreme amount of aggression towards the seasonal camping community on this night. His verbal abuse was in the form of swears and curse words that were not only heard by my family and others, but many small children in the area. His comments were targeted towards the crowd as "These people don't deserve entertainment" but primarily towards Chris as "Go back to Pinehaven" and "I'm going to get you kicked out of here." This shows a clear and personal vendetta between an employee and a customer.

Paul was very hostile and it was almost as if he wanted to start a confrontation. He was very unreasonable especially since there were no rules broken.

As a visitor, i was blown away by the friendly gathering. It was relaxing and a great time. It really made me want to look at campsites at BTL… that was until a person from management was rude, obnoxious and disrespectful to all involved. As stated above. That horrible and unprofessional situation changed my mind completely.

What a wonderful evening we were all having listened to amazing music and socializing with friends! How Paul approached was so unprofessional and the language he used was uncalled for! Also he made a comment (that we people don’t deserve anything) that was so uncalled for!

I could not believe Paul's behavior on Saturday night. I have been a seasonal for 24 years and have never witnessed this. His use of language and way he handled the situation was uncalled for.

I have witnessed the staff be incredibly rude and unprofessional to paying customers. I would not come back to this campground.
