BTech matters because having one does NOT mean you are uneducated or under-educated, people doing other qualifications like BEng and BSc also learn as those doing BTech learn, moral of the story is that education is education. Knowledge is acquired in different ways.

I honestly think cput is inconsiderate and selfish, what about people who would want to do their Masters like me but cannot because they first need to do Btech elsewhere, that is such a long process.

It's unfair to some of us who are still doing diploma and wanna enroll for B -Tech afterwards

Students who are doing national diploma how are they suppose to continue with thier studies? This is unfair to these students. Why don't you make us aware and give us enough time to complete B-Tech? And also universities should not offer national diploma, only degree courses.

I sign this petiti because I'm one of the students who didn't meet requirements to enroll for B-tech this year. Thought even I have 8 years working experience in building but still was not given chance by CPUT. I intended to enroll next year. I started this diploma in building 2004 due to financial constraints I never completed it at WUSU. This in unjust for us as adults.

This is unfair for some of us who just got training last year, after enrolling 8years back

We need some extension....
