I cant further my studies because of the closing of the Btech degree

That is highly unfair

The rejected me for Btech but its phasing out ..where must I go?

I really hope the department of higher education should reconcinder the B.tech matter close down matter.

BTech is still very much relevant for people who want to be technical with an academic push.

Students should be given a chance to do their Btechs

The phasing out of B-Tech will affect almost half of the South African students, because as we speak the country is having a challenge of unemployed graduates and plus the mentioned above challenges we are having because it is true that some are still busy with the S4, some were not told about this situation, hence I kindly send my comment which says PLEASE CAN THIS PROGRAM OR COURSE NOT BEING PHASED OUT

It should be phased out in a responsible manner. Those that started their career path with the intention of doing the BTech as an end point should be allowed to complete it. Nothing was communicated upfront. They might be a new equivalent option to replace the BTech, but who knows how the market will receive the new qualification? It is unacceptable that they can’t end up with the qualification they set out on. Allow then to finish up, then change the game! Please council the new candidates so they know where they are headed. Do the right thing!

It's been difficult to find inserv training. I feel it's best if they extend the period for btech Regards Mishola
