I have friends who have recently started with their diplomas and the phasing out of Btech will have a huge effect on their future So the should extend the process

Why are the Btech degrees being phased out

If Btech is being phased out, it should follow that there be a bridging course between the National Diploma and BEng. Since this is not the case, all students currently enrolled for NDP's should be allowed to finish their studies upto the Btech level. Another issue is the lack of information. Many of us were not informed when we registered that curriculums and qualificatiins will change in the near future. We need to be given time to finish, or there needs to be a bridging course.

I fully support the movement as I am one of the students how are still battling to complete their National Diploma.

Btech should be funded by Government as it is equivalent to advanced diploma

I wish like the Btech can be full time imagine doing two subjects for 6 months is a waist of time and money.

If BTech degree is being phased out, we need an immediateentry to BEng degree after completing our National Diploma

Its unfair on current students not tobe allowed to register
