The BTCC has a wide fanbase that loves to watch their sport whenever they can. The popularity of the sport has increased drastically over previous years, largely due to ITV4's excellent coverage of the BTCC races on a Sunday. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for their coverage of Saturday Qualifying sessions. Qualifying is hidden away on itv.com, on a stream that is unreliable at best. It often freezes and cuts out causing loyal fans to miss out on crucial action, like Colin Turkington's pole winning lap at Croft. The BTCC and it's fans deserve better coverage of their Qualifying sessions. Televising Saturday Qualifying sessions would be major for the BTCC and would not only enable loyal fans to see coverage of Qualifying that they could rely on but it would also encourage new fans to start following the championship. So please ITV, give the fans what they want and deserve.
