The City of Moore will require a signed petition from the residents of Blue Stem Ridge showing that 90% of the neighborhood is in favor of speed deterrents on 31st street. The purpose of the deterrents is to slow down East and West bound traffic and aid in the prevention of potential catastrophes. The deterrents that have been mentioned are roundabouts and/or stop signs on 31st street. Speed humps/tables/bumps are not being considered at the time, and will not be presented in the final proposal to the City.

People treat 31st like a race track. Its only a matter of time before someone gets killed. Put in the stop signs already.
Speeding is a very serious issue in our neighborhood. If no deterrents are installed soon, there will be children seriously harmed or worse.

We need these, I live at 3100 Carey pl, and we have speeders BAD.
Let’s get this passed before a child gets hurt!!

Yeah, I was almost hit walking my dog just the other day by a young lady cutting through the neighborhood.
