We feel that the spring drawdown at Brownlee reservoir should be not so drastic. This severe drawdown disrupts the crappies ability to sucessfully spawn. This inturn has a serious financial effect on the people that depend on this fishery for all or part of their livelyhoods. The small towns that depend on this fishery are allready facing great hardships due to the increasing price of fuel. They are small isolated communities that have struggled hard to survive. I think we owe it to them to help with this poroblem in anyway possible.
The momentum behind this effort is growing and it shows that people are paying attention to the survival of our local fisheries. Post this link on your Facebook page and text three friends who rely on the reservoir to keep our pressure on the decision makers.

Fix this now. The locals need the fishing to survive and this is just killing the spawn every year.
