All scientific study has limitations this is a matter of academic freedom Dr. Littman’s research shows highlights what is happening all over the globe. The concerns of parents are of equal value to the concerns of the teenagers. The issue needs to be understood in terms of All who are concerned not just a designated patient
Universities need to be a place where all ideas can be discussed and researched, not silenced.

My daughter suddenly announced she was a boy after watching an uncritical television programme about the subject on mainstream children's television, which presented being transgender as the only explanation for gender role dissatisfaction. With time and maturity she came to the realisation that she is a girl who experiences same sex attraction and does not fully conform to gender norms. The importance of this research to homosexual and bisexual young people cannot be underestimated.
