Transgender activists consistently use intimidation to crush debate and research as they know their dogma is suspect and easily exposed as such

Suppression of robust academic research is tyranny. And cowardly.

This research should be openly ciculated and its conclusions supported or refuted through academic research alone.

Correctly done research should not be squashed by an academic institution. This is the suppression of free speech.

Academic freedom to publish is critical to freedom of thought. By all means criticise, but for a university to apologise for supporting research and publication of that research is shameful, in my view.

The fundamentally flawed, not to say corrupting, seminal research in this area was done by Alfred Kinsey who deliberately chose predominantly sexually corrupted subjects and passing them off as truly representative of Americans.

This is important research in an area that needs further study.

I don't put much weight in science. All I care about is if it attacks trans people. This does so I support it.

Continual research is needed in order to fully understand concepts like this. Academic freedom is the only way we will ever fully understand. Silencing those just to be ‘politically correct’ is non progressive and ineffective !

O ativismo trans não tem o direito de silenciar e boicotar pesquisas que se preocupem com a saúde e o desenvolvimento de crianças.

Academic freedom should not be silenced by misogyny and trans activism based on manufactured gender stereotypes

I am signing this petition because I am a mother and I have a brain and a heart. If my child was suffering, and the only option they were being offered involved a lifetime of taking hormones and having multiple surgeries, with the likely loss of fertility, likely loss of the ability to breastfeed, and likely loss of sexual feeling, all at enormous physical, emotional and financial expense with very uncertain result, you can bet I would be screaming my head off for research into different options. This is not about politics, it is about parents who are trying to help their suffering children. Stifling this study is so nakedly an attempt to intimidate and prevent any further research it is hard to believe it is happening in America. Why is this happening? What are those who are trying to suppress this research so afraid of?

Why so many girls, why so sudden, why in clusters and why now are very good questions and research should not be suppressed for political convenience.
