Very concerned the influence of a very small but vocal trans activist community was deemed more important then the free reporting on this much needed research. We are talking about what is best for CHILDREN and activism that slows down or prevents research has no upside. As a research based organization, you must rise above noise.

Children now seem to be just pawns in adult's agendas

Brown should be ashamed of itself for not defending academic freedom. This research was a perfectly decent first examination of an important phenomenon, of course with limitations but then all research has limitations. Academics all over the world have taken note of the fact that Brown is cowardly, easily bullied, unwilling to stand up for its staff, and generally lacking integrity and backbone

I believe in free inquiry as a principle.

Critical research needed to save the majority of the children who will end up accepting their bodies. Only very small number need medical treatment. Let the girls be tomboys and call it a day.

We must allow research to stand and fall on its investigatory merits.

Science needs to speak for itself, not for a political party or ideology.

We need more of this sort of research, and we need more professionals who are willing to speak up. As it currently stands, Dr. Littman and like-minded others must often (reasonably) feel that they are speaking alone.

If academic institutions fall to vocal mobs, our society is doomed.

As a concerned Gma it sadden’s me to see the brainwashing through social media and schools, that activists of the LGBTG who are in many instances adults glorify transition as a solution for young people who are just starting their discovery. As children are being exposed to Gender Unicorn and other resources it delivers a message that they are not just a boy or girl -but they can choose a gender based on how they feel. It is confusing to me as an adult our children need to be protected from this form of education. I am not homophobic or raciest, I am a concerned person who believes that children should be educated in schools to give them skills eg reading, taught to respect each other and our country, and feel safe to be who they are. Children in school should not be brainwashed into a gender discussion that enables activists to abuse our children with a message that is better delivered my caring parents. Gender confusion is on the rise I believe; so I support making Brown study published so the full story of this troubling trend for our children sees the light of day.

What happened to integrity and honest academic approaches to politics, education and research? None to be seen at Brown's University.

Why hide the truth?

All sides of the issues of social conditioning must be presented. You call yourselves scientists? Highly questionable. You're looking more like social engineers than people who seek truth.
