Scientific facts should never frighten anyone—we should all stand up against the suppression of facts! If “more research is needed” how is that a bad thing?

Suppression of data is always wrong. I'm not antagonistic to transgender people. But this is simply attacking results that people find challenging, not attacking the validity of the results on scientific grounds. If the study is bad science, peer review can suss that out.

This needs to be about the health of the children - paramount. To ignore this puts children at risk. The is similar to the lobotomy issues of the mid 1930s - journalists ignoring the risks. If unjust decisions are made, this may put children at risk and allow them to take drugs which are not approved by the FDA and which may having a children later no longer an option.

To remove a scientific study is to undermine academic progression. Research isn't about feelings.

Do not bury controversial research evidence about transgender or other issues based on ideology. Seek facts; seek truth.

Continued research is absolutely vital given the staggering number of children affected by this trans epidemic. We should be more concerned with the heath and well being of these children rather than the current rabbid social dictates on the subject.

Suppressing scientific research with results at odds with politically correct conclusions must stop. Here, kids' health and futures are at state. Do not make kids pawns in the political wars of adults.

Do not stifle academic research simply because you feel threatened by the truth. The lives and health of young women are worth more than a few hurt feelings from those who oppose this research.

Like Dr. Lisa Littman said, this is a first step and demonstrates that MORE research is needed.

This is more than just an issue of academic freedom. For some of us, this supports the cessation of self-destructive behaviors, including inhibition from acting upon suicidal impulses, especially for those of us who experienced interpersonal childhood traumas and were taught to feel out of place in our own bodies. I am someone who is personally in support of this research. I am a survivor of interpersonal childhood traumas Due to the nature of the traumas I survived, I developed disassociations, most strongly from the somatosensory cortex, a self-destructive behavior I was taught to engage in by the adult abuser who was of the opposite sex. This adult abuser would molest me until I would physically begin suffocating. This happened for many years without him getting caught, which was very traumatic. As a child, I felt the need to comply with this adult when he would tell me that I needed to 'unfeel' what I had felt. As a toddler, I felt that this was something that I needed to be able to do, simply because an adult was telling me that I needed to be able to do that, which meant the adult might be able to do that and If I were to do that, I might avoid being molested and hurt again. These were adaptations that I was taught that I needed to make in order to survive. I was taught to self-destruct by mirroring the behaviors of an adult of the opposite sex. I have spent 15 years in therapy trying to heal from various traumas. These activists can't erase the existence of those of us who are begging for help. We are just as valid and important of human beings.

As an educator faced with an ever increasing number of young people presenting as trans as well as groups coming in to schoils and educational establishments presenting the transfer ideology as fact, I firmly believe that the more studies that examine this phenomenon should be made available. Academic freedom is important and shame on Brown for giving in to this political lobby, it will be a long time before this issue become es settled science.

We must protect science, academia, speech and the welfare of our children.
