I have more science credentials than most faculty at Brown University, and the leftist "war on science" and "war on normality" is both disgusting and extremely dangerous to our nation. This is the type of "science" done by the Nazis to prove racial superiority or the "science of agriculture" sponsored by Stalin, NONE of which was science based, but simply ideologically driven

As a Mother whose daughter has suddenly decided she is a trans man since going to college, I think this is extremely relevant info that needs to be distributed far and wide!

I support Dr Littman's scientific exploration of the phenomenon of ROGD. As the parents of a young adult male who has in a matter of weeks transitioned to an insistent demand to be recognized as female, we are very concerned. Very little positive counseling is available in the college environment, as many efforts seem to be directed at accommodation for the sake of retention of admitted students. This does not provide an environment where developing adults can have potentially damaging processes challenged in a healthy and comprehensive manner. While we were not part of the interviewed respondent population for the study, we are in the category of parents who support equal rights for LGBTQ+ populations, to include comprehensive study and rigorously developed legitimate mental health research. Our son did not exhibit any inclination toward transgender/non-conformity until taking romantic interest in a girl who identifies as lesbian and then subsequently being matched with a room mate who had been treated for gender dysphoria and identifies as non-binary. A greater depth of knowledge is crucial in informing science and policy as well as helping to form a basis useful to families sharing our experience.

This war against science must be stopped

I am a highly educated mental health professional, and a concerned parent of an ROGD child - we need REAL answers.

We abandon the scientific method to our own peril. This insanity has to stop now. It's time to reverse the trend and start calling out the people who "call out" scientific research to censor it. Maybe a bit of their own medicine may help? Although I despise this tactic from the bottom of my heart something has to be done, this lunacy already progressed far beyond what I ever thought possible in a more or less educated population. I honestly believed that it would have withered away by now by the sheer force of internal inconsistency but boy was I wrong.

My son never had any problems till recently when he all of a sudden concluded through his own researches on you tube and elsewhere that he was now transgender and suffering from dysphoria.

I believe that God has given us over to this deception because we have thrown Him out of schools, government, work places etc. How else to explain the wholesale support of giving children the choice of being boys or girls. We don't let children play with knives, run with scissors or play with matches for their own protection; we should put into the same category cutting off breasts and penises and using drugs to stop puberty. This is a sickness in our western world brought about by the PC brigade and we will pay the price if we don't repent and seek God's intervention. We have been led by the nose on this by Satan, who hates us, and need to get on our knees before the God who actually loves us.

I totally agree. I think teenagers as a whole are at very vulnerable stages and are subjected to peer pressure. My daughter was anorexic in high school because “ thinness” was popular. This study is very valid. live and as we live under a democracy founded in a Constitutional Republic ,allowing us the unalienable right to express views, then there should be no censoring . If research does not fit into the specific culture, it should still be allowed. It’s called freedom.
