Petition to Reduce Broad Run Oaks Annual Assessments and Stop Special Assessments!
There’s been some rumbling of a pool, clubhouse, and amenities for some time. I'm guessing many you never thought it would get any traction, especially in this economy. However, more recently the Board has been actively pursuing amenities that many of us don't need, or want.
As you are probably aware, the results of this fall's survey were provided to the community as part of the winter newsletter. While none of the options had the required number of supporters, the board is continuing to pursue amenities that you will pay for if implemented. Let's put a stop to the luxury assessments. Times are bad, and we need to look out for our fellow community members by keeping expenses low.
At this time, BRO has a full reserve with a surplus. Should the board choose, they could have reduced assessments and looked for ways to cut costs further. Instead, we're having unscheduled meetings to explore ways to spend your hard earned dollars. GET INVOLVED now before it is too late!
