The NHS Mid-Essex Trust, at a meeting next week, is being asked to ratify a decision to extend radiotherapy services at Colchester and Southend and NOT to provide radiotherapy services at Broomfield Hospital. We believe this decision is flawed.
Broomfield Hospital patients must travel to Colchester if they need radiotherapy treatment.
Despite promises made over a number of years that radiotherapy services will be provided at Broomfield Hospital, the Mid-Essex Primary Care Trust could make this decision with very little public/patient communication, consultation or involvement.
We need your help, please support this petition to ensure that the Mid Essex Primary Care Trust delay this critical decision until they have listened to everyone's views, opinions and concerns.
