This petition is dedicated to bringing back the Dusters name for professional hockey in Binghamton, NY. Although a current team would be made up of all new players and could never be quite the same as the original Dusters of the late 70's, the Broome Duster name is the last piece of true uniqueness in Binghamton hockey history. A new team bearing this classic name on the front of their jerseys permanently would be the greatest tribute to the people responsible for bringing hockey to the Southern Tier and the long history that was started with.....THE DUSTERS!
