Sign this petition created by the ward Councillors for Windhill & Wrose to express our support for superfast broadband to be installed in the Brookwater community as a matter of urgency. Many households are stuck on speeds of 2mb or less and have to resort to using our mobile signal instead of the broadband services many of us are paying for. This has a significant impact on our lives, including our businesses and our families’ education.
If faster broadband were available in our community we would purchase it and we understand that ward Councillors will be using this information solely for the purposes of their discussions with internet providers on this issue.

All surrounding areas have fibre or cable options, even the road leading into the estate. 3mbps is ridiculous in this day and age for an estate with over 200 houses on it
shockingly poor speeds and having to pay the same as people who can receive the sort of speeds the providers advertise. funnily enough they don't advertise how poor their speeds are here!!
Openreach engineers have confirmed the estate has fibre installed and ready to go. But for some reason no company have activated it.......So frustrating!!
Our internet is disgraceful considering homes less than half a mile away can get 30 times faster speed.
I have lived at my address for 14 years and every year when i ask the question of when are we going to get high speed broadbank the answer is always next year. It has become s joke now. 2017 and still speed is 1mg to 4 mg.
Just ran a speed check on my broadband on BROOKWATER - speed 0.4mb. BT. Open Reach and my provider should be ashamed. As should the local council for allowing it to happen and take so long to resolve the problem. They keep making the right noises but nothing happens, typical councilors!!! Lets hope something comes from this petition or they will be losing voters next elections.
We have cable boxes to the top of the road and below our road so why not extent them to our estate

Our broadband is so slow it's Impossible to use, our ave speed is between 1.7 an 2.5 on a good day, I work from home and can become nearly impossible to work some days
