No really!
This really should not happen... one of the best Restaurants I’ve eaten in training second to none, son worked and trained here pivotal in his development in the industry...

How can this closure be even considered?! It is the heart of the hospitality school and provides the best insight into the industry for all those students starting out. We must keep this untouched and reinforce the positive outlook of the industry in order to nurture and develop the future managers of our industry....without a training restaurant or a hospitality school, where does our industry disappear to???

Used regularly by local community and for local business lunches. Student training in an excellent quality restaurant. Please keep it open.

This is such an important part of the students development. It would be such a shame for such a high performing school to loose this facility

This would be a huge mistake - the restaurant is fantastic and key for the students' development.

We know the place has issues and is struggling, but my (Brookes) architecture students last year came up with plenty of ideas to revive and better integrate the restaurant into the community - happy to share these!

As a brookes student heading into her final year, what initially got me interested in the course was the brookes restaurant. Hands on hospitality is a unique opportunity that oxford brookes offered. As a student who came back from their placement year it really felt like the ethos of Oxford brookes has changed. I hope for current and future students oxford brookes makes more of an effort. especially for a course that is known as one of the best in the UK and Europe.

Brookes restaurant is an institution and gave many hospitality students the foundations for what are now successful careers in hospitality.

Hospitality students have gained invaluable experience working in Brookes Restaurant and its also been an excellent venue choice to eat in Oxford. Closing this facility would deprive future industry entrants of such a valuable part of their course and will not make Brookes Uni a premier choice for them. The reputation of the course and interest from industry mentors is certain to be badly affected. This would be a very poor decision to close Brookes Restaurant.
