In the interests of safety for the local community, I am petitioning to have the DRT/GO Bus Stop currently located on Brock Street, Whitby (Hwy 12)- North of Whitburn (Bus Route 302 Southbound) and also on Brock Street - South of Woodlands (Bus Route 302 Northbound) moved from their current position to be relocated to be situated directly at the traffic lights/sidewalk of the above mentioned intersection. Currently, there are no sidewalks or bus sheltersavailable for passengers embarking or disembarking from the bus. Passengers are stepping directly on to Brock Street, which is particularly dangerous in the winter months, with snow banks, ice build up etc., etc., on an extremely busy road. Of particular concern, is those that are travelling with strollers, and elders in the community.
