We the undersigned petition the NJ Governor and NJ Commissioner of the Department of Health and Senior Services to reinstate the licensing approval for Broadway II-Adult Medical Daycare Center, and to eliminate the inclusion of patients diagnosed with developmental disabilities from the NJ Fiscal Year 2010 patient cap (limiting service inclusion to a maximum of 100 Medicaid recipients at any given Adult Medical Day Services).
We understand that the enacted denial poses a significant threat to adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities and their families. The Broadway Adult Medical Daycare Center and the proposed Broadway II daycare center offer specialized services to this population and alternate local resources cannot meet these needs is a satisfactory manner.
These resources are valuable because so few options for care exist and the Department of Healthâ
