The town council has approved our plan for the first Brixham PRIDE festival on the harbour. It is rewarding to see our shared vision become a reality for this community. I look forward to seeing how we transform this space into a place of welcome and celebration.

Youngsters who want to attend this event at the moment have to travel to Plymouth or further. There should be one that covers the torbay area..
In the current climate of division in the country, a joyful celebration of the LGBT community would show that we are not all small minded bigots but embrace all.
The young lgbt community should not be ashamed they should be proud and accept who they are
Hope you get more support from the council than the last Torbay Pride event got. Funny how you can have unrestricted numbers attending an airshow but limited to 3,000 people at Hollicombe.
This would be a great idea but how about a bay pride for the hole bay rather than just brixham

There's only very few who are homophobic, but unfortunately they're the loudest! I think a festival like this would encourage a change. It's exactly what the town needs.
