We, the undersigned, believe there should be a place for every Brisbane resident child to attend Brisbane Elementary School (BES). We urge the Board of Trustees to support this priority by making space at BES for all of Brisbane's incoming kindergarteners for Fall 2011. We ask the Board to do this out of fairness and equal consideration shown to other student populations--including Panorama students and interdistrict transfers--that the Board has decided should continue to attend their schools of choice, in spite of the budget crisis. Brisbane families who pay property taxes into the district and have roots in the community should be given the same consideration.
