This petition supports a beloved member of our Rivertowns community, Najmus Saqib, who needs our help.
Until last summer, Naj was living in Tarrytown and working two jobs in Irvington - at the Lambros service station and at Chutney Masala restaurant. He was a hard worker, well-liked and trusted, and he made friends everywhere he went. Everyone one he met, age 8 to 80, was his friend.
Unfortunately last summer Naj was apprehended by Immigration & Customs Enforcement, and he’s been incarcerated in the Orange County Correctional Facility ever since, awaiting disposition of his case.
Naj came to the US from Pakistan at age ten and never looked back. He was fully integrated into this country and wanted to pursue the American Dream.
We, the undersigned friends of Naj, want to express our firm support for him. We believe he deserves to remain in the US, become a full citizen, and continue to make a positive contribution to our community and this nation. Thank you.

I, Ricardo Vazquez of Mobile Asset Accessories, 1 North Broadway Irvington NY 10533, and we the individual citizens, in and around Irvington NY 10533, resolve to support Naj Saqiba, our hardworking immigrant community member and friend, in his matter with ICE. We petition that Naj is a dear and valued member of Our community, He is a hard worker of two jobs, well recognized and liked by many from ages 8 to 80 and above and below. I firmly believe that he is undeserving of being held by our legal system and would be a benefit to our great nation, which I so defend, if he were continuing his efforts to live the American dream. Please Sign this petition and write letters of support.Thank You.

I am currently coordinating with legal counsel to finalize a formal request for Naj’s release based on the community ties documented here. We have initiated contact with relevant local offices to ensure they are aware of his history and status. Expect a summary of these interactions once we receive official replies.

Naj is the best. Always smiling when he fills up my tank. Just let him come home already.
I have know Naj for many years via his work at our local gas station. He is a valued and respected person in Irvington. A hard worker and good soul. He is honest and kind, and it's always a pleasure to talk with him. I cannot imagine him being forced to leave America solely because he came as a here as a child-- age 10, no less. Nor do I understand the need to arrest a good citizen. I am absolutely opposed removing Naj by Immigration. I sincerely urge the powers to be to let Naj return to Irvington. His permanent removal will be destructive to our community and his family. Please, please consider the petitions of many community members. I just feel like crying so deeply for Naj, our town and our country at this time. I respectfully ask you rescind this order. Cathy Sears-Robbins
Nice guy if you you think people who deal with child porn are nice. DEPORT HIM!!!!!!!
I gave him my Christmas stocking my mother made full of Christmas cheer. BRING HIM BACK!
This is total garbage. He has been here since he was a kid. He is basically American. Leave him alone.
Seems to be so misguided. Immigrants are the backbone of our country.
What a bunch of hypocritical liberals.
