The joke was 'kys' and me and my friends use it jokingly all the time. I don't think she should get expelled for this.

Jokes are simply that- jokes. Yes, they can be offensive, or meaningfully hurtful, but even if they are there is no reason you should be expelled for a joke, especially if you are telling it to a close friend. School is a place where you can learn from mistakes, not be expelled and harshly punished for one. If the joke really was that bad, a short suspension might have been reasonable. However, possibly damaging a young person's life forever (in the area of education, at least) is irresponsible. Bring Chloe back!

She does not deserve that kind of punishment for a harmless joke. I surely do hope these ridiculous people understand this and let this go.

I don't know what exactly got her expelled besides it was a joke but that seems a little far to not let someone attend school for another year.

The situation should've been handled differently, at the worst she should've been suspended for a few days, expulsion is way over the top.

She doesn't deserve to be kicked out for making a joke with a friend. "Kys" is taken as a joke in most cases- I have used this term multiple times to my friends for laughs. I hope she's brought back!

Chloe did nothing wrong. if she already served her suspension time, HPA has no right to extend her punishment.
