Mr Freedman was an inspiration to me back in the early 80's when he taught me history. Few teachers had the impact on me to take an interest and want to learn, but Mr. Freedman was / and still is awesome. Educators weep when someone Jerry Freedman steps away from teaching, you don't let him leave or push him out the door, he cares and is far too valuablable. Please keep Jerry, students will suffer if they don't have the opportunity that I had, there is nobody like Jerry. Please reevaluate your decision regarding retaining his services.

You have shared so much with everyone you come in contact with. Thank you for being such a giving and inspiring mentor. Continue to do what you do, until your last intake of air. You teach not because you have to, but because you can. You have left huge deep foot prints across my heart. And I am forever grateful. You will always live in my heart.

As Mr. Freedman's students we acknowledge the great contribution he made to our lives. Administrators cannot fathom this so we have to raise our voices to overturn their fiscal chicanery.
