As some of you may know, Hasbro has bought the wonderful kid's channel, Discovery Kids, and turned it into something much worse -- The Hub. This channel is no longer educational, it has turned into something like a Cartoon Network. The Hub now displays violent shows -- such as Batman, Battleship, and G.I. Joe, which will now teach otherwise nice, young kids into those who will grow up to play awful games such as 'Call of Duty' or 'Halo'. None of these new shows seem very educational, or very appropriate, for kids anymore. Discovery Kids provided children -- preschoolers through teens like myself -- with a fun way to learn. They incorporated things such as nature (like in The Saddle Club, a show that teaches about horses and friendship) and history (Time Warp Trio, a show that has three kids that go back into the past and visit historic moments). None of these shows displayed any violence, other than the occasional competitive feeling between characters. All of these shows were educational in some way or other, so in speaking, Discovery Kids is kind of like a grown-up Noggin. Please bring Discovery Kids back! For kids like me! :) -Thanks
