Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee fighting it out as Dracula and Van Helsing you just can't beat it!
Hammer brought together the age of horror, colour presentation and heaving bosoms that you were always looking out for the next one to be released (that's film not bosom).

Sadly, a lot of classic films in general are not on the BBC, but it would be a start to get horror double bills back where they belong. "We belong dead", as a certain iconic monster once said.

I grew up with classic horror films late night on BBC2, there's plenty of space to still show them, get rid of the dross and repeats and let's have some nostalgia and something for the generations that haven't had the opportunity to see them yet!

It would be brilliant if bbc brought back saturday night horror double bills as when I was growing up in the eighties they were a joy to watch.It would be a truly refreshing change from the drivel which is shown now.

Friday and Saturday night's TV is usually quiet boring! Same old films, if there's even one on... It would be fun to get some of the old horror movies on like they used to show on on Tyne Tees in the 70's and the BBC2 horror double bills. A refreshing change from "reality" tv and EEEndless soaps!
