Are we really going to continue feeding our brave young men into the hopeless cause that is Afghanistan? There is no hope of a military solution, no hope of leaving behind a more stable society, no hope of ensuring that there will be no more future attacks from individuals based there, and no hope of achieving anything but an undignified exit from yet another conflict we should never have been involved in. Where are the voices of the people ( or should we call ourselves "Sheeple),it would be more apt ! To ask me to accept the death of even one of the 404 soldiers we have lost to bring about a better deal for women in a country which hates everything we stand for is too much.
