I grew up with that cardboard tray in Bounty wrappers, and I miss it! Bring it back!
Please reinstate the cardboard tray formerly contained within the bounty bar wrapper. It's alternative uses too numerous to mention here, save to say it's use as an interim bookmark was invaluable. It's continued absence is nothing short of an unseemly aberration. We seek immediate redress of this impropriety, in order that the bounty may once again rejoin the pantheon of all-time great chocolate bars.
The cardboard strip provided structural support for the chocolate bar - very reassuring for those with a long trip home with the shopping. It should never have been removed - it's madness.
Come on Mars of Slough! If you can bring back the Marathon you can surely bring back Bounty's cardboard tray to give much needed stability to the fragile coconut... Please don't make us deflect to the Mounds bar!

There is a practical reason to reintroduce the cardboard strip: improved rigidity during transportation. It also makes an attractive bookmark or a model tin roof for the train station in a toy train set.
