We heard today the devastating news that the plug is to be pulled on Oakwell 1575AM because they have decided to \"concentrate its time and efforts into providing an outstanding level of service for its online subscribers\". It sounds to me that they are only carrying out what they are contracted to do with Barnsley World and it bears no reflection to their statement above. Last year we were promised by Andy Firth that the equipment at Oakwell 1575AM would be improved in order to enhance their broadcasts, so why has the plug now been pulled on the station, eh It\'s about time we were heard!
