Please, for the love of god, what lack of judgement did Evan display that Rex Murphy, or Peter Mansbridge, or most of all Amanda Lang didn't show themselves. You must bring Evan back.

the matter could have (should have) been handled in the HR manager's office NOT the way CBC execs chose to do it. A knee jerk over reaction after the Q debacle.

This decision to fire Evan Solomon was politically motivated as are Harpers appointments to the CBC board.

CBC you can't scapegoat Evan and not fire Mansbridge, Lang and Murphy as well.

I do not agree with your decision to fire Evan Solomon.......Evan is a delight to listen to as well as he isn't afraid to question any one who try's to evade the question .... I think you over reacted to the situation.....Bring him back because we Canadians are happy with him.....

Me thinks someone is being used as a scape-goat. How about, Rex? Peter? and Amanda. They get a different standard of punishment? Really enjoyed you Evan, Thanks, hope you end up with the completion shortly

Evan Soloman is an intelligent journalist who asks incisive questions and pins people down until they answer. We need that and if his art dealings do not affect his judgement as a professional journalists this is just another smoke screen for the conservative - we'll all need niqabs to avoid dying of the smoke of the conservatives.

Evan Solomon is an excellent journalist and host, and I have much more trust in his journalistic and personal integrity than that of the CBC mgmt. Canadians need and deserve his voice and his tenacity in attempting to hold those in politics and positions of power to account. Journalism in Canada - and certainly the CBC - is much diminished without him.

shame on CBC - moonlighting? yes. Not the best decision? possibly. Like Gian? Absolutely NOT! TV is about personalities and Evan is/was a great host! Change your mind and remember about glass houses and stone throwing...
