Evan was an excellent host that always showed a balanced approach. It is in my opinion that his personal life did not influence his performance as a host.

Firing Solomon was an over-reaction, perhaps due to his criticism of the current government. Power & Politics just is not the same without him!

I feel very strongly that Evan Solomon was fired without due cause and should be reinstated. He as and still is immensely popular with the viewing public.

He's certainly made a mistake worthy of suspension and penalties but the response was not proportionate. Bring him back we don't have that many great political journalists like Evan.

Conservative Broadcasting Corporation! Rob Jeffery is likely taking his marching orders from PMO to weaken the CBC. He is a Con activist and a CBC board member. CONs wanted Evan out of the way. No one was able to hold the CONs and others to account and get to the bottom of issues like Evan. Someone needs to get to the truth. Bring back Evan. Fire the CBC Con CEO and the PnP team. The team should have walked off without Evan, until the matter was fully aired to his satisfaction. The show is not worth much without Evan. I continue to wait and watch to see where Evan shows up. That will be the network I stick with.

Fire the CBC's CEO and the PnP team. Bring back Evan. Someone has to get to the bottom of what is really going on!! I, too, believe the CONs did not like being held to account! Conservative activist and CBC board member, Rob Jeffery, is probably following PMO marching orders! Conservative Broadcasting Corporation?!

Don't get me wrong Rosie is fantastic, but she is over her head at the moment. Evan has spent long enough in the dog house, he has apologized, time to bring him home.

Evan should never have been let go. He is the face and voice of Power and Politics. I like Rosie too but Evan should front this particle show.

Evan Solomon was Power and Politics. I love Rosie but she can't carry this show every day and it's painful to watch. Evan may have made an error in judgement but his action was not did not warrant firing. If CBC wants the show to survive, they need to rethink their knee jerk reaction.

CBC has made a significant error in both their judgement and their decision to fire Solomon. I believe people in high level positions at CBC are "deflecting" by shifting the burden to Solomon when in fact they should be more mindful of their own behavior n( i.e. engaging in alleged cover up of Ghomeshi's alleged serious and unethical behaviours). Solomon is a scapegoat and needs to be reinstated. If top level executives at CBC do not change the culture, I will considering boycotting CBC entirely .

Mr. Solomon is an excellent journalist and was a major contributor to the award-winning coverage of the shooting in Ottawa last October. He did not deserve to be FIRED for his already discontinued misdemeanor.

I think Evan made an error of judgement. I do NOT believe he should have been fired - disciplined, perhaps, but not fired. He is too valuable a personality and "commodity" for CBC to let him go.

I wholeheartedly assert that the CBC was rash in their decision to let Mr Solomon go.
He is an outstanding interviewer and a brilliant political mind.

CBC has removed another of its world class employees.. Is this another tactic from the Conservative controlled CBC Board to remove a vibrant, talented and popular symbol of the CBC we know and love.

If Amanda Lang still has a job wifh CBC so should Evan Solomon, there is a journalistic witch hunt going on now, instead of holding politicians to account, it seems more sport to attack fellow writers. Who is behind this attack on Evan Solomon?
